Overview
Rated an 8.5 by Harold Hamersma: "Made with pinot noir, cabernet franc and zweigelt, the latter a cross between blaufränkisch and St. Laurent. The grapes come from vineyards in Hungary and Austria, more precisely from Balf, Sopron, Horitschon and Mittelburgenland.
The result is an original blend, left to ferment in large used oak barrels and subsequently transformed into wine: an unpolished red with notes of cherry, red fruits, raspberry, a herbaceous touch and unbridled energy. Hungarian? No. Austrian? Neither. It is the fruit of a beautiful European union
