Recommended as a volcanic wine on Winelife n. 84: "Bright red wine full of fresh fruit, with an intriguing sulfur note. It's like tasting the force of a volcano. 95% listán negro and a small part of castellana negra come from 35 vineyards with ages ranging from 10 and 100 years. The wine partially matures in French oak barrels. Tip: try it with pizza, mushroom quiche or simply with bread and ham."

Vineyard	The grapes come from 35 plots divided into different vineyards; Los Geranios, Las Terrazas, Monteijo, Los Pasitos Cordón, Los Sauces, La Florida, Fefe, Trujillo, Fortaceros and Chibirique. These vineyards are between 10 and 100 years old at an altitude between 250-800 meters
Harvest	Manually, in 16 kg boxes during the first two weeks of September
Vinification	Alcoholic fermentation in small steel tanks at a controlled temperature (22-25°C), with manual pressing. Indigenous yeasts are used. Malolactic fermentation (70% in concrete tanks, 30% in French oak barrels).
Wood education	30% matures in 500 liter French oak barrels for nine months.
Taste impression	Seductive bouquet rich in red fruit and light mineral notes. Red fruit, minerality and an earthy touch return on the palate
