Denomination of origin Wachau DAC
Grape varieties 100% Grüner Veltliner from vineyards with vines between 15 and 45 years old.
Vineyard Loibenberg. This is one of the steepest and poorest terraced vineyards in Loiben. It faces south. Both Riesling and Grüner Veltliner are grown here. The soil is rich in minerals and consists of gneiss.
Harvest Manual harvest
Vinification Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Wood education The wine is partially aged in 30-40 year old wooden barrels.
