Vineyard The vineyards are located in the village of Dernau. Crossed by small valleys, the Pinot Noir grapes thrive here in an optimal southern position. The terrain is similar to that of Stodden's Herrenberg, with a mixture of slate and grauwacke that retains the sun's heat, even on the coolest days.
Harvest Selective manual harvest.
Vinification 17 day fermentation. Malolactic fermentation in barrique follows.
Wood education 18 months in new oak barrels.
