Named 'New Herring Sherry of the Year 2023'. The jury agreed that this year is truly a 'fino herring year': the finos are on average more in line with this year's New Herring. The tasting note of the jury that rated both the fino and the pairing with a 9+: "Palomino fino; beautiful colour, fine and filling aromas in the nose and taste, intense, soft, unctuous in the mouth, nicely ripe, nutty touch, beautiful in composition, delicate and pleasant, very much length". And in combination with 'Hollandse Nieuwe': "Gastronomic combination, complex and balanced, rich and tasty, fine nutty touch. Salty notes remain beautifully nuanced in the whole, beautiful length."
