The 2012 vintage scored 92 points from José Peñin, 91 points from Robert Parker and a 9+ in De Grote Hamersma 2018: "A red that reminds me of the best Cannonau from Sardinia. An explosion of aromas and flavours, sometimes direct , other times hinted at. Wonderfully dense, pure and fresh at the same time. Plums, sour cherries, cocoa, a hint of leather, exotic spices."

Taste impression	On the nose, intense notes of black cherries, freshly ground black pepper but also floral notes emerge. On the palate there is an enveloping fruit, enriched by a pleasant spicy touch given by the wood. Long and refined finish
