Overview

Een wijn met een diepe robijnrode kleur. Met schone en intense aroma's van rood rijp fruit met geroosterde tonen, kruidigheid van kruidnagel en kaneel. Fris en zeer evenwichtig in de mond, zijdezacht, intens, smakelijk, met zeer gepolijste levende tannines, en een lange en aangename afdronk van complexe aroma's.

Harvest	Manual
Vinification	Careful selection of the grapes upon arrival. First a cooled pre-fermentation of six days at 12°C. Fermentation in French foeders for 28 days at a controlled temperature of 26 degrees Celsius with daily pumping over and pigeage. This is followed by a slow malolactic fermentation of 32 days in new French barriques and subsequent maturation.
Wood education	After the malolactic fermentation, the wine matures for another 27 months in new French oak of 225 liters with medium toasting.
Taste impression	A wine with a deep ruby red colour. With clean and intense aromas of red ripe fruit with roasted notes, spiciness of cloves and cinnamon. Fresh and very balanced in the mouth, silky, intense, tasty, with very polished living tannins, and a long and pleasant aftertaste of complex aromas.
